Tim Prior grew up east of Cleveland, Ohio, surrounded by the lush forest and river environment that provided his love of nature and the inspiration for his career choices. Chesterland, OH, provided an idilic Americana-esque childhood of sunny river days, deep winter snows, parades on main street, carnivals and the Great Geauga County Fair. He attended the renowned West Geauga Public School district until high school when he then attended Proctor Academy. The progressive education he recieved in Andover, NH, further affected his environmental ethic, sense of aesthetics and eventually lead to his discovery of urban planning as his core passion.
After learning the pleasures of work, he was accepted to the rather humble Kent State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a side of Philosophy. Tim landed a chemistry job in Madison, Wisconsin, and later attended the URPL School of Urban and Regional Planning. He moved to Denver, Colorado in 2013 to start eThos Electric Car Share, the only all-electric carshare in the U.S. at the time. Tim is currently launching a new venture while rolling the ball forward in his other endeavors.
